A horrible Friday is over. 18 holes with his good friend Johan should make things a little better.
And soon Tom will be presented with a game changer.
Tom rushes to the first tee, 6 minutes before tee time. Finally, something has gone right.
The sound of a cleanly struck drive is a beautiful sound. A ping/click followed by satisfaction that is difficult to describe to the non-golfer.
The sound of Tom’s drive was more thud than ping, more clunk than click.
Followed by leaves rustling and an expletive.
“Take your mulligan,” says Johan encouragingly.
By the par 5 fourth hole Tom has relaxed and swinging freely. Focus on the back 9 today.
“RS Production is brilliant,” Johan is almost evangelical as they stroll in the afternoon sun towards two perfectly placed balls. “I like to think of it as a brain that gives every machine human-centered design.”
“What do you mean?”

When you have the right information, you can plan your journey. But RS is smarter and quicker. It also tells you when you need a service. When tyre pressure is low. How you can drive more efficiently. And a whole lot more."
“We had a bottleneck that we discovered a week too late. If we had subscribed to RS Production, it would have more than paid for itself that week. It would have told the operators and management instantly that we had a problem.”
Tom walked calmly towards the next tee. A dogleg par 5.
Ping/click. A great drive can save a bad day. Golf can save a bad day. A solution can save a bad day. Tom’s next drive was a beauty.
