The Data Protection Ordinance (GDPR) applies as a law in all EU member states as of May 25, 2018. The regulation will entail a change for those who process personal data and strengthen the rights of the individual in terms of personal integrity.
Personal data in RS Production
In RS Production there are two types of objects connected to individual persons; Operator and User.
Operator
To the Operator object there are production data associated with information that can be perceived as personal data. The purpose of the data is to be able to work with improvements and personal development in the machine operator role.

The action to remove the personal data is to replace the name field of the Operator object with “XXX” or similar when the person no longer should be searchable in RS Production. The production data will not de changed, but the link to Operator object will be anonymized.
User
There are also some personal data in the user object. The purpose of the personal data is to communicate internally in the production organization.

The action to remove the personal data is to remove the user object when the person is done using RS Production.
